I ended up doing this last night so I had to use what I had on hand to shim up the fuel rail. It's not pretty, but it works. You can see there are 2 bolts that hold on the fuel rail (M8's I believe). I had some 1/2'' longer than the originals. I had to do away with the fuel injector clips, as the originals didn't work on the new injectors. These clips just hold the injector onto the fuel rail when removing the fuel rail, did not appear to be 100% necessary to have them. The base of the fuel rail only needed to lifted about 5-6mm for the new injectors. This is partially because the new injectors could slide further up into the fuel rail because there were no clips. Here are the photos of the old injectors and how they were installed. (see photos above)

Here are some photos of the new ones installed. If you look close, you can see I used 3 small washers to lift the fuel rail approximately 5mm. The bolts I had ended being a little too long, so I had to use an over sized hex nut at the top as a spacer or bushing so I could tighten everything up.

As far as performance before installing these injectors, this gator would not start when hot, it would be flooded and have to sit for an hour or so before you could start it again. It would barely start when cold. It would idle very poorly and ran poorly as well. Misfiring, cutting out, you name it with the OE injectors.

After Installing Your Bosch Injectors, First startup was rough for about 5 seconds as I suspect the computer had to readjust for the new injectors, then it smoothed out and idled perfectly. Which it hasn't done in at least 7 months of being in and out of the shop. I took it for a test drive and it drove smoother than it has since it was new, and possibly stronger too. After driving it for a bit, I shut it off and it fired right back up! No flooding or hard start when it was hot. I'm hoping this has solved my problems, it's looking good so far!

Again, I appreciate your help.

common symptoms of Injector problems with John Deere Gator 825i:

Hard Starting - due to leaking injector
Rough Idle - caused by poor spray pattern or internal coil failure within the injector
Raw Fuel Odor - caused by uneven flow rates (dirty injectors)
Poor acceleration

We have spent many hours in research to assure that these parts will be a perfect substitute for the poor quality Injectors used in these Chery Motors.

Our Bosch injectors have the same flow rate, coil resistance, and plug connector as the original MIA11720 Injector, so your Gator 825i will run as well as it did when it was brand new.

Our Bosch injectors will be 1/2 inch longer than the OE Chinese made injectors, so before you install our injectors you will have to add washers under the fuel rail and use slightly longer bolts that hold the fuel rail down, this will raise the rail 1/2 inch. There is plenty of room above the rail for the injectors to fit.

Don't keep buying the same Chinese injectors that fail in a months time. Save yourself time and money by buying our Bosch Replacement Injectors and fix the problem for good!
